It is our responsibility to practice good corporate citizenship in our workplace and the communities where we serve. Here are some examples of how we're making an impact.

Recognizing Juneteenth across the country

Our employees in Mississippi, Florida, Arizona, Virginia, and several other locations throughout the country honored the significance of this holiday by participating in local Juneteenth events to foster a deeper connection in the communities where we live and work. To further the Juneteenth dialogue, more than 300 employees also joined in our 4th annual company-wide Community Conversation, facilitated by our Black Alliance Employee Resource Group.

Newest CCO site establishes a culture of giving in its first year

“Being a new CCO site, we want to promote the Maximus brand as much as we can,” Senior Site Manager Emmanuel Avila said. “We want to show people who are potentially looking to start a career with us that this is a company that gives back.”

In its first year, the site held:

  • An Easter basket giveaway to donate 100 baskets to underserved children in the community.
  • A school sports equipment drive to support the local school district.
  • Upcoming backpack drive in preparation for the new school year.

Florida employees show Veteran appreciation through partnerships

Maximus’ Tampa Bay, Florida, team actively supports the military community. The team recently participated in Operation Partnership with the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce. The event provided useful information to local businesses, explaining ways they can recruit and retain military members and their family members.

Local Maximus leaders also attended and sponsored the Military Bay Military Appreciation event on May 16. Businesses in attendance learned about the various military outreach efforts taking place in Tampa Bay.
